Julia Doyle: “pellucid simplicity was the ideal foil for Bostridge’s intensity.”

The Daily Telegraph praised Julia Doyle’s performance in Bach’s Johannes-Passion with Polyphony and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment on Good Friday; the same line-up performed to a capacity audience at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris the previous Wednesday.  Julia was a perfect Maddalena in Handel’s La Resurrezione to a packed Wigmore Hall on Easter Monday, with the London Handel Orchestra directed by Adrian Butterfield.
