Duo Dorado on BBC Radio 3 Early Music Show this Sunday, 3 February
This Sunday′s Early Music Show is about Daniel Purcell, under the title “The Other Purcell Boy”, and will include extracts from Duo Dorado′s new CD “The Unknown Purcell”, released last month by Chandos. The programme will explore the latest research into Daniel – once believed to be the more famous Henry’s brother but now thought to be his cousin.
A recent review of Duo Dorado after their concert in Weymouth last month says “David’s spectacular harpsichord aroused great admiration…Both musicians displayed remarkable technical proficiency…An enjoyable aspect of this concert was the rapport between the performers and the audience…”
